also known as o-musubi, o-nigri, onigirazu
A simple Hawaiian and Japanese influenced meal simply made of a type of protein, a block of rice, and wrapped with seaweed.
When people think of musubis, automatically they think of spam musubi (are we right or are we right?). BUT did you know there are more than spam musubis? Your mind process right now: *explosive* you don't say. Yes, there are countless ways of making these musubis, onigiris, onigirazus, sushi sandwich, whatever you want to call these delicious rice snacks!
This is where Hapa Musubi comes in play. Hapa, meaning to be half Hawaiian, is a concept we applied to our musubis. We created our own take on musubis by mixing up * a little bit of this and little bit that * (did you sing that part too?) while still embracing the musubi-ness.
